Jori Fisher Witt

Jori Fisher graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and also holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University. After teaching Social Studies for nine years at Elmwood Park and Libertyville High Schools, Jori started a family and became involved with Lungevity Foundation, a start-up nonprofit focused on funding lung cancer research. Jori supported Lungevity in a number of volunteer roles and then joined its staff as Regional Development Manager. Excited to share her experiences in both teaching and service, she joined Beacon Academy in 2015. Jori lives in Evanston, and enjoys spending time with her three children. She is an active member of the community and supports numerous nonprofit organizations close to her heart.
