Todd Ferguson grew up in Texas where he attended both a Montessori school and an IB high school. After completing his undergraduate degree in English from Trinity University, Todd earned his MA and PhD in philosophy from Purdue University. Todd recently worked for seven years as a bioethicist at the American Medical Association where he directed the AMA’s Online Fellowship in Physician Ethics and Professionalism. He has also taught undergraduate and graduate courses in philosophy and is co-editor of Restoring Hope: Decent Care in the Midst of HIV/AIDS (Palgrave Macmillan, 2008). Todd lives in Roscoe Village with his wife — a trial lawyer — and two retired racing greyhounds.
