Jori Witt graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in Secondary Education. She also holds a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from National-Louis University. After teaching Social Studies for nine years at Elmwood Park and Libertyville High Schools, Jori started a family and became involved with Lungevity Foundation, a start-up non-profit focused on funding lung cancer research. Jori supported Lungevity in a number of volunteer roles and then joined its staff as Regional Development Manager. Jori lives in Evanston with her husband and three children. She enjoys being an active member of the community and supporting non-profit organizations close to her heart.
