Community Spirit

As we enter our third academic year (2016-17), we are fortunate to be in a position of strength and growth. With the addition of our third class of students this fall, we have outgrown our current space. In the fall of 2015, it became essential that Beacon embark on a major gifts initiative to secure our permanent home at 1574 Sherman Avenue. We will begin our third academic year in this new space.

Gifts towards Beacon 2.0: The Building Fund allow us to:

  • Secure a new physical space located in the heart of downtown Evanston that allows for Beacon’s continued growth and expansion
  • Secure architects and designers, and proceed with construction
  • Prepare the environment with the purchase of more equipment, furniture, and supplies
  • Provide budget relief for operational expenses

When we think of Beacon Academy, we think not of one family or one individual.  In the truest Montessori spirit, we think of a community. If you are interested in supporting Beacon’s growth with a financial contribution, please contact Renée M. Ruffing, Director of Advancement, at 224.999.1177 or by email.
